Name, role pronouns:
Dhruti, she/her, Society and Community Editor
What does intersectional feminism mean to you?
To me, intersectional feminism is about community, connection, and creation. To me, its about using intersectionality as a tool to dive deeper into the human experience. And not a weapon to divide ourselves further. To connect deeply and create a greater world.
What is your favourite thing about Clitbait?
I absolutely love the warmth and contagious joy the community holds. So much FUN!
What inspires you?
Watching people and nature create and out-create repeatedly fills me with joy and inspiration to create a greater world.
A guilty feminist confession?
I’m a feminist and I often don’t resonate with a lot of feminist discourse broadcasted on the media – particularly with punitive justice and cancel culture. It’s been an interesting learning curve to transform this ‘guilt’ into a gift and use it as a way to help steer and transform feminist movements to actually create a more equitable, compassionate world <3
A personal feminist triumph?
Not functioning from a reactive state and instead sink into my power and create long-lasting change.
