Aditi Ranganathan (she/her), Arts and Culture writer.

My favourite films are a tie between Little Miss Sunshine and Legally Blonde.

What does intersectional feminism mean to me?

It means acknowledging that feminism includes everyone. It means being open to criticism, and ready to fully listen to the experiences of others without being clouded by my own experiences. It means honesty, inclusivity, and a willingness to keep learning. In order to be intersectional, we must let down our defences. 

What is your favourite thing about Clitbait?

How creative everyone is! When I first started here I looked through all the different topics that have been covered, and I thought the range of responses was just so interesting and varied. 

What inspires you?

Creativity is truly universal. You don’t have to be an artist or poet by trade or anything like that to be a creative person. I really want to show people that being a jack of all trades and master of none is actually a great thing!

What things do you do outside Clitbait that you are proud of?

I study Textile design, but I describe myself as a ‘Maker’, because my practice spans across many different things; I’m a poet, amateur sewer, illustrator, painter. I love to make things. I recently took part in a sustainable fashion show with a fantastic student start up called Outfit of Tomorrow, which was amazing. 

A guilty feminist confession?

I will unabashedly sing all the lyrics to Taylor Swift’s “Better Than Revenge”.
